Reliability theory application
Description:
Applications of reliability theory include the assessment, analysis, and control of the reliability of various objects and systems in order to predict possible failures and evaluate their impact on operational processes. Characteristics such as failure intensity, component lifetime, and failure probability distributions are evaluated and predicted. The analysis can cover both technological system elements and human (operator) reliability by determining the probability of errors in different work situations. These assessments help to better understand system behavior under uncertainty, make informed decisions, optimize maintenance, and increase overall operational safety and efficiency.
